Working with our Volunteer Coordinators:

  • It's a physically demanding role, with lifting and moving, walking to the toilets in the main building and an uphill walk up to reach us, unless you drive (ample parking).
  • Warehouse-type work in a small building, dusty, drafty etc.
  • You will sort through boxes and bags of art, craft, textile and haberdashery donations (this is where any knowledge and expertise is valuable!) to source items for eBay and Community groups.
  • You will be sorting in boxes and bags that have been in storage

When, Where & How Long For?

  • Slots Available: Let us know your availability, possibly Thursdays but we are yet to decide
  • Penny Appeal Campus, Thornes Park, Wakefield
