Pick-ups and shopping helper

Can you help support your local food bank/soup kitchen to keep up with donations?

As a charity organisation operating a food bank, clothing bank and soup kitchen we are growing in local donation pick-ups and in our shopping runs so we could use some more help!

This would likely only be a once a week/Fortnightly need however it will make all the difference to us!

We would very much appreciate somebody who has a car who would be willing to make pick-ups or do shops independently (eventually) and claim back mileage at the end of the month. These would usually not be more than 1 trolley full.

We still welcome help from anyone unable to drive, you could accompany and help load up shopping/donations and unpack back at our food bank as we need more help with this.

Donation pick-ups would mainly consist of Castleford Aldi's donation baskets.

Most shopping is currently done at our local Aldi and Booker wholesale.

  • Volunteer must be physically able to lift food items

We will cover fuel expenses at a rate of 0,45p per mile from Trinity Mission to the shop and back.
